Ropeadope Records is an American record label specializing in jazz, hip hop, electronic and downtempo music. The label was founded by Andy Hurwitz[1] in New York City and later moved to Philadelphia, where it is now located.

The label has announced that starting in February 2007, they will be going completely digital and all music will be released online on their website and other music downloading sites.[2]
