Biography

Rorschach Test -- Electro-metallists James Baker (vocals), Benjamin Anderson (lead guitar), Kris Geren (rhythm guitar), and Troee (keyboards & programming) -- was formed in Seattle around 1992. Singer Baker had a deeply religious upbringing, and his parents decided he would become a preacher when he grew up. After completing seminary school, he decided that it wasn't the life for him, and was forced to leave for committing heresy. Unsure of his next move, he fell headlong into music and lyric writing, to help take his mind off his problems. Soon after, he met guitarist/then-drifter Anderson (who was also ministry-bound at an earlier age), from Yuma, AZ, and the two began writing songs together. After hooking up with the rest of the band, they perfected their material, eventually leading to a record contract with Slipdisc/Mercury records. In early 1998, their debut Unclean appeared; Peace Minus One followed two years later. ~ Greg Prato, All Music Guide

Rorschach Test was a heavy metal/industrial band created by James Baker in the 1990's. They broke up in the early 2000's after the members of the band lost interest in continuing it.

Rorschach Test formed in Denver, Colorado, and later relocated to Seattle where they were signed to the now defunct label Slip Disc Records out of Chicago, Illinois. They enjoyed a successful career during Seattle's lively music scene in the 90's. They toured North America playing shows with the likes of Korn, Type O Negative, Genitorturers, and Queensrÿche. The band worked closely with exotic dancers from a bar in Oregon called Club Cabos.

It was reported on the website www.industrialrock.net that Rorschach Test have reformed and are working on a new CD with producer Neil Kernon.
