Rouche's theorem

(mathematics) If analytic functions ƒ(z) and g(z) in a simply connected domain satisfy on the boundary |g(z)| < |ƒ(z)| , then ƒ(z) and ƒ(z) + g(z) have the same number of zeros in the domain.
