A proprietary combination of essential oils (menthol, pinene, menthone, camphene, borneol, and cineole) that has been used as an adjunct to bile acids for the dispersal of gallstones. Its value has been questioned. Rowachol is available as capsules on prescription only.

Interactions with other drugs:

Anticoagulants the effects of warfarin and acenocoumarol may be reduced.
