Ruwaida al-Mahrooqi or Ruwaida El Mahrouqi is a singer from the United Arab Emirates.
Rowaida rose to fame with her hit song " Hataitik fe Bali" (I kept you in my head). She is considered being one the best new khaliji singers along with Kuwaiti singer Maram and Kuwaiti Singer Shams and Yemeni Singer Arwa. She then released other albums and songs such as "Ghareeb el Tebaye'" (weird characteristics) and many others. Lately she signed with the record label Rotana where she released an album "Wareeni" (show me) and shot the main song of the album.
In 2007, She was chosen along with Lebanese singer Carole Samaha, Lebanese singer Wael Kfoury, Lebanese singer Hayfa Wahbe and Tunisian singer Ahmed AlSherif to star in a movie produced by PEPSI which is supposed to provide her career with a big break.
