Early years
Dunn was born in Medina, Ohio, and moved to Pennsylvania with his parents in his early teens in an attempt to clean up a developing drug problem with marijuana.[1] A notoriously bad driver, he once flipped a car with Bam Margera, Jess Margera and Chris Raab eight times into oncoming traffic. Jess suffered a cracked wrist during the incident. Dunn first came into public attention while appearing alongside his friends in the CKY Crew, in four CKY videos.
Career
Early career
While taping a skit for Jackass: The Movie, Dunn was driving a golf cart with Johnny Knoxville as his passenger. The idea was that he would launch the golf cart over a sandtrap and into a plastic statue of a giant pig, and the statue would simply be crushed. However, the statue did not crush but instead forced the golf cart into the air and it landed upside down. Dunn was thrown from the cart, but Knoxville landed on his neck and the cart landed on top of him. He was knocked out for a while but was not seriously injured. They stopped filming the skit at that point. In the commentary for the movie, Bam noted Dunn's bad driving.
Another skit in Jackass: The Movie featured Dunn placing a toy car up his rectum. The car was placed inside a condom and covered in lubricant. He then visited a doctor and complained of a pain in his tail bone, only for the doctor to take x-rays and discover that a small car was lodged in his body. Steve-O was the original talent for the piece but ultimately refused to do it, stating that his dad would "disown him" if he did it. He was also featured in Jackass Number Two.
Later career
In 2006, Dunn and Bam Margera participated in the Gumball 3000 in Margera's Lamborghini Gallardo.[1] and later he went on a tour with Don Vito called "The Dunn and Don Vito Rock Tour" and the DVD was released on March 20, 2007.[2] Dunn and Margera again participated in the rally in 2008.
Bam Margera, stated during a December 2, 2008 radio interview with Big O and Dukes of 106.7 WJFK-FM, that he and Dunn would be going to Italy to film Where the F*%# are my Ancestors.[3] That same month, Dunn appeared on the episode "Smut" of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in December 2008. He is also featured in a movie called Street Dreams which was released in the spring of 2009. He co-stars along with Rob Dyrdek and Paul Rodriguez Jr . Dunn also plays the main character in the feature-length comedy Living Will set to be released in late 2009.[4] It has been announced he will be starring in a show to be out in 2009 with fellow Jackass stars Bam Margera, Brandon Novak, and Chris Pontius about them traveling the world and doing things as they did on Jackass. The show is reportedly to be on Spike.[5] Jackass 3, has been announced and is scheduled to be released sometime in 2010.[6]
Personal life
On April 16, 2005, Dunn was driving at a high rate of speed while intoxicated. Along with several smaller traffic infractions, he was arrested and released shortly after on his own recognizance.[7] He later appeared in court and was given probation and substance abuse classes, which he successfully completed.
Dunn has been dating Angie who starred in Bam Margera's movie Haggard.
