The Ryukyu Trench is an 2,250 kilometer (1,398 mi) long oceanic trench along the southeastern edge of Japan's Ryukyu Islands in the Philippine Sea in the Pacific Ocean. It is located between northeastern Taiwan and southern Japan. The trench has a maximum depth of 5,212 meters (17,100 ft).

This trench has also been called the Nansei-Shoto Trench, after an alternate Japanese name for the Ryukyu Islands.
