Sëlva (Italian: Selva di Val Gardena; German: Wolkenstein in Gröden) is a comune (municipality) in the Gardena Valley (Val Gardena) of the province of Bolzano-Bozen in the Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 70 km northeast of the city of Trento and about 30 km east of the city of Bolzano.

As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,570 and an area of 53.2 km².[1] According to the 2001 census, 87.84% of the population speak Ladin, 6.18% Italian and 5.97% German as first language.[2] The Ladin place name derives from the Latin silva ("wood").

Sëlva borders the following municipalities: Badia, Campitello di Fassa, Canazei, Corvara (Kurfar), San Martin (St. Martin), and Santa Crestina Gherdëina (St. Christina in Gröden).

It is perhaps best known as one of the starting points of the Sella Ronda ski tour.
