Buddhism Dictionary: saṃgraha-vastu

(Sanskrit). The four ‘means of attraction’, comprising one aspect of a Bodhisattva's training in relationship to other beings. A Bodhisattva uses the means of attraction to draw beings to the Dharma by means of generosity (dāna), kind words (priya-vadyatā), beneficial acts (artha-kriyā), and sympathy (samānārtha).
