Review

Sacred Space is a classic e-music album by Giles Reaves. He reissued it in 2000 in MP3 D.A.M. format. It is now on SpaceForMusic in standard format. This is pure space music. Reaves infuses the atmospheres with positive energy and bright colors. The imagery is vivid. Listeners are going on a journey through space as Reaves knows it. Some parts of the journey are to inner space, or the inner self. Other legs are to the far reaches of outer space. The soundscape is full of deep sequences, vast atmospheres, and minimalist drones. This essential CD will appeal to fans of Constance Demby, Alpha Wave Movement, Tales, and Air Sculpture. ~ Jim Brenholts, All Music Guide
