Saken 1996 was Diana Haddad's first solo album . In 1996, and after three years of hard work, Diana Haddad released her debut album, "Saken". The album instantly became a major hit all over the Arab World. The songs "Lagetik", "El-Sahra", and the title track "Saken" were released almost simultaneously, and all became major hits. Now that the first album was a major success .

Saken was very successful , In spite of the fact it was Haddad's First Album the album sold more than 800,000 in that year ( rare thing to accomplish for a debut album in the arab world ) and millions of copies to date according to the recording Company and Diana Herself , Becoming the only Arabic Female Singer to achieve such a success from the first album and the Only Arabic Female Singer to be certified Platinum for her first album a record she still hold till today,all the Singels from this album was #1 on many radio & TV's Charts in the arab world
