Samuel Kenneth Gruneisen (born January 16, 1941 in Louisville, Kentucky) was a center in the National Football League for the San Diego Chargers. Gruneisen attended Villanova University.
After completing his tenure in the NFL, Gruneisen ventured into a different career. His love for the game brought him back to football where he coached on many different levels including the NFL and various college programs across the country. He made his mark on the game not only on the field as an outstanding lineman, but by coaching players, building athletic programs and winning championships. Gruneisen's passion for the game is unparalled.
