Samsung C&T Corporation (formerly Samsung Corporation) (Korean: 삼성물산, Hanja: 三星物産) is the origin of Samsung Group and currently consists of Engineering & Construction Group and Trading & Investment Group. The company was renamed from Samsung Corporation, which focused its business on trading and investment, to Samsung C&T Corporation after having merged with Samsung Engineering & Construction.
