Completed in year 1607. It is the oldest church in the Philippines.

St Paul's Cathedral in Macau was built by the Jesuits in 1602; however, only the façade and the catacombs remain standing today, so San Augustin in Manila may lay claim to the oldest standing church in Asia.

Xinhua has reported the discovery of what may the be oldest church in Asia; in the town of Abinsm in Inner Mongolia, about 500 kms North West of Beijing. it is believed to be around 700 years old.
