Roberto Sánchez (born August,19th,1945), better known by his artist names Sandro/Sandro de América ("Sandro of America" in Spanish) or Gitano, is an Argentine singer and actor.

Biography
He learned to play the guitar from childhood, identifying his music as Romani[1]. His paternal grandfather was Russian Rom - Roma are known in Argentina as Gitanos[2][3].
