School

As a place to learn, to "brush up" on subjects previously studied, or to further one's education, a school in a dream may indicate inadequacy, especially if related to unpleasant early school experiences. If the dreamer is a teacher, the dream may symbolize authority. In some esoteric groups it is said that during sleep the soul attends classes "on the inner planes" (in the spiritual realm), so that dreams about being in a classroom would be interpreted as reflecting this type of "spiritual learning" experience.
