(computer science) An array of cells on a video display screen that allow a user to command a computer by touching buttons displayed on the screen at the locations of the cells. A window of data that is temporarily displayed on a screen, leaving the original display intact when the window is removed.

(2) A clear touch panel that allows the user to command the computer by touching displayed buttons on screen.
