Plot

Unctuous late-night host Sammy Maudlin (Joe Flaherty) wants your gold as he presides over an episode-length telethon. Helping Sammy meet his goal are funnyman Bobby Bittman (Eugene Levy), singing sensations Lola Heatherton (Catherine O'Hara) and Lorna Minelli (Andrea Martin), special guest stars Steve and Eadie (Dave Thomas and O'Hara), and beloved SCTV personalities Johnny LaRue (John Candy) and Captain Combat (Thomas).
