Second Fußball-Bundesliga 2006-07
Second Fußball-Bundesliga 2006/07 (2nd division German football league) kicked off on August 11, 2006 and concluded on May 20, 2007.
Karlsruher SC, FC Hansa Rostock and
MSV Duisburg were promoted to the Bundesliga.
Rot-Weiss Essen, SpVgg Unterhaching,
SV Wacker Burghausen and Eintracht
Braunschweig were relegated to the Regionalliga.
Three teams were relegated from the Bundesliga for the 2006/07 season:
1. FC Kaiserslautern, 1. FC Köln, and
MSV Duisburg.
Four teams were promoted from the Regionalliga Nord and Süd: TuS Koblenz, FC Augsburg, Rot-Weiss
Essen, and FC Carl Zeiss Jena.
