Sedgebrook is located four miles west of Grantham in southern Lincolnshire in the district of South Kesteven, very close to the border with Leicestershire at Muston.
The busy A52 trunk road passes through the village and it has been witness to several serious accidents over the last ten years. The stretch of the A52 running from Bottesford to Barrowby can be considered an accident blackspot. The parish church is dedicated to St Lawrence.[1] The Nottingham to Grantham Line passes close to the village, crossing Allington Road.[2]
Sedgebrook had its own primary school up until 1981, when the building was closed and the school amalgamated with that of Allington.[3]
Adjacent villages are Barrowby, Muston, Bottesford and Allington.
