Video games are the continuing saga at SEGA. The company is the main contributor to almost all of parent Sega Sammy Holdings' business segments (except the largest segment, pachinko/pachislot, the purview of sibling Sammy). The creator of the iconic Sonic the Hedgehog series develops game software for PCs, wireless devices, arcade machines, and platforms such as the Sony PlayStation, Nintendo Wii, and Microsoft Xbox. Popular titles include Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games, Virtua Fighter, Crazy Taxi, Bayonetta, Vanquish, and Super Monkey Ball. It also makes arcade machines and operates amusement centers such as Joypolis, Sega World, and Club Sega. It operates in the US through subsidiary SEGA of America.
