Biography

A Vancouver, BC-based quartet consisting of Frank Ludwig (keyboards/vocals), Ron Sullivan (guitar/vocals), Graham Crowell (bass), and Jim Taylor (drums/vocals), the band managed only one release, the single "He's a Man" from Rumble in late 1968/early 1969. Combining elements of "Tuesday Afternoon" and "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da," its sweet delicacy quailed before harder-edged chart competition. Self-Portrait later became Crosstown Bus, from whose album came the single "Rochester River." "He's a Man" resurfaced on the History of Vancouver Rock and Roll, Volume 3. ~ Stansted Montfichet, All Music Guide
