Semi-Professional is a first season episode of the television series Law & Order: Criminal Intent.
Plot summary
In this episode, Detectives Goren and Eames investigate the murder of a judge's clerk, who was killed in the magistrate's home. The clues point to a low-profile hitman, but Goren and Eames turn their attention to the judge's personal life. When the suspect of the crime is arrested, he is found to have a connection to one of the judge's rivals who is looking for a seat on the appelate court. The detectives begin to look deeper into his questionable background, but they will have to face intense political pressure.
