Seneca High School is a four-year comprehensive regional public high school that serves students from four communities in Burlington County, New Jersey, as part of the Lenape Regional High School District. It is the newest of the Lenape Regional High School District's schools. The district serves students from Evesham Township, Medford Lakes, Medford Township, Mount Laurel Township, Shamong Township, Southampton Township, Tabernacle Township and Woodland Township.[2] The school serves students in ninth through twelfth grade from Shamong, Southampton, Tabernacle and Woodland Townships.[3]

As of the 2006-07 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,373 students and 114 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 12.0.[1]

The school was the 134th-ranked public high school in New Jersey out of 316 schools statewide, in New Jersey Monthly magazine's September 2008 cover story on the state's Top Public High Schools. The school was ranked 258th in the magazine's September 2006 issue, which surveyed 316 schools across the state.[4]

Seneca has an abundance of activities available to its students and is a member school of the Olympic Conference, in many of its sports programs. The school goes by the moniker the Golden Eagles, which narrowly beat out other contending names, such as the Sacagaweas, Apaches, and the Squantos.
