Laoide, Seosamh (Lloyd, Joseph Henry) (1865-1939), folklorist and editor. Born in Dublin, he was educated at TCD, and became joint treasurer of the Gaelic League in 1893. He was appointed editor of the Gaelic Journal [see Irisleabhar na Gaedhilge] from 1899 and oversaw the publication of 200 Irish titles between 1902 and 1915.
