Sergey Mitrofanovich Gorodetsky (Russian: Серге́й Митрофа́нович Городе́цкий; January 17 [O.S. January 5] 1884–June 8, 1967) was a Russian poet, one of the founders (together with Nikolay Gumilyov) of Guild of Poets ("Цех поэтов").
Gorodetsky entered the literary scene as a Symbolist, developing friendships with Blok, Ivanov, and Bryusov.
His pursuit for the "correct worldview" detailed in his brief autobiography shaped his aesthetic interests. Despite his start as a Symbolist and end as a Soviet writer, Gorodetsky is typically associated with Acmeists as Mandelshtam, Gumilev, and Akhmatova.
