Serie A Young Footballer of the Year
Antonio Cassano, who has won the Serie A Young Footballer of the Year award twice
The Serie A Young Footballer of the Year (Italian: Migliore calciatore giovane) is an annual association football award. It is presented to the under-24 footballer who has been considered to have performed the best over the previous Serie A season. It is organized by the Italian Footballers' Association (AIC) and is part of the "Oscar del Calcio" awards event.
Antonio Cassano has won the award the most; he has won the award twice in 2001 and 2003. He is the only player to have won the award twice. Roma have had the most winners; three players from the club have won the award three times. The first non-Italian to win the award was Slovak Marek Hamšík in 2008. Javier Pastore is the most recent recipient of the award.
