Sewardstone is a place in the Epping Forest district of Essex, England.
It is located 11.6 miles (18.7 km) north north-east of Charing Cross and is the only area outside Greater London to be covered by a London postal district post code (E4). The area consists of scattered development with large sections of open land. The King George V Reservoir forms the boundary with the London Borough of Enfield to the west and a section of woodland forms the boundary with the London Borough of Waltham Forest to the south.
The world HQ of the Scout movement, Gilwell Park, is at Sewardstone.
