Biography

Shahid Ahmed made his film debut with a role in the British film Yasmin, playing a Muslim man who's been detained, and whose wife is campaigning for his release. He soon followed this up by playing a downtrodden man who becomes a terrorist in Stephen Gaghan's critically acclaimed Syriana before switching gears for the quirky comedy Mischief Night.
