She's Mad is comprised of an edited version of the title track (the original version found on Uh-Oh) plus three live acoustic pieces performed in 1992. Byrne's Uh-Oh band was heavy on Latin percussionists; this is evident in the Latin-tinged pop sound of "She's Mad." The three acoustic tracks, including Hoyt Axton's "Greenback Dollar," are interesting in their stripped-down presentations. "Buck Naked," performed here in its infant stage, would later be fleshed out in the studio for Byrne's successful 1994 release, David Byrne. ~ David Ross Smith, All Music Guide
