Sheena is a Scottish–Gaelic form of the name Jane. It is also of Hebrew origin and means "God is gracious".[1]
Could also be a variation form of the masculine Sheymus and Seymoor. It is stated[by whom?] that is a name related with meanings of horsey toughness and Bone-breaking warrior woman in the late Pict and proto Scotts tribesfolk. It served as inspiration for the famous 90s TV series Xena, the warrior princess since its main originator was a fierceful student of the early British isles tribes and primitives cultures, such as the Caledonians and ordovicii.
