"Shelter Me" was the lead single from Cinderella (band)'s third album, Heartbreak Station. Beginning with a subdued verse heightened by the use of slide guitar, it soon rocks into shape as a pure, Rolling Stonesesque hard rock song. The song also showed fans and public the transition and shifted the band from a glam metal/hair metal band to a blues rock band. It reached #36 in the US charts in the early Nineties, and thus became their last top 40 hit to date. Little Richard and a then-unknown Pamela Anderson are featured in the music video.
