Shiwei (Chinese:) is an ethnic group, who once resided at the eastern part of Mongolia and Manchuria. It maintains close ties with Donghu. The Mongol people are believed to be originated from it.

Shiwei, Xianbei, Sibe, Xibe and Siwe are origined from one word.
