Shock Tarts were a sour and chewy variation on the popular Sweet Tarts. shock tarts were developed by Sunmark candy company, a subsidiery of Nestle, in St.Louis, Mo in the early 1990s. It had been discontinued, but it has now been rereleased and marketed under the name "Shockers" by Willy Wonka.
