Review

The group's second album has tighter pop songs (though the chords are still a bit derivative of Dino Jr.) and an edgier production sense reminiscent of Pan sonic and other electronic experimenters underlying on tracks like "Day 7," "Another Planet" and "Chemicals." The fusion of bubbly electronics and ragged guitar-pop works better than expected, lifting Shrink above a raft of other post-rock acts. ~ John Bush, All Music Guide
