Biography

Silverman is the main project of singer Anna Dennis and sampler/guitarist Martin Williams. The two first met after Williams' first group, the Nilon Bombers, broke up towards the end of the '90s. Desperate to change directions, he found his muse in Dennis and the two began collaborating. Drawing in bassist Steve Moody, keyboarist Alan Deacon, and guitarist Mark Rolfe for live performances, the band put together Speed of Life, Pt. 2 in the following months and eventually landed a deal to release it in the summer of 2002. ~ Bradley Torreano, All Music Guide
