Sir William de la Pole
Sir William de la Pole was the eldest son of Owen de la Pole, grandson of Gruffydd ap Gwenwynwyn and was the heir presumptive of the throne of Powys Wenwynwyn.
He was born in Kingston upon Hull in 1275 during his families exile in England. His family was restored to their lands after the defeat of the princes of Kingdom of Gwynedd in 1277 but lost their princely titles following the Statute of Rhuddlan.
Sir William married a lady called Elena Rotenheryng and died sometime before 1329. He had two children;
