Real Estate Dictionary: Site-Built Home

A home that is constructed primarily on its Site. Although some components may be Prefabricated off-site, the home is erected, framed, and finished by workers on location using stock materials.
Example: Developers of site-built homes often feel that their products are superior to Manufactured Housing subdivisions or rental communities in close proximity.
