Six Flags Wild Safari

Wikipedia: Six Flags Wild Safari

Six Flags Wild Safari is a drive-through safari located in Jackson, New Jersey right next to Six Flags Great Adventure and Six Flags Hurricane Harbor. The park currently covers 350 acres (1.4 km2) and the main road through the park is 4.5 miles (7.2 km) long. It contains 11 themed sections, and is a home to 1200 animals. It is sometimes billed as the world's largest drive-through safari outside of Africa [1], even though in the US alone there are much larger safari parks, such as Louisiana's High Delta Safari Park is located on an area of 2,000-acre (8.1 km2) and Oregon's 600-acre (2.4 km2) Wildlife Safari.

Wild Safari was opened to the public on July 4, 1974, along with its theme park neighbor, Great Adventure.[citation needed]
