Skjern is a railway town located in western Jutland, Denmark with a population of 7,622 (1st January 2009)[1]. It was the main town in now abolished Skjern Municipality. From 2007 it is, with Ringkøbing, the co-administrative seat of Ringkøbing-Skjern Municipality.
