Fact
- In the concluding scene, Nicole Wallace, appears to be implicated in the murder of Fremont. She does not appear in this episode, and the murder occurs offscreen, so it is not confirmed that she is responsible for the crime, but Goren suspects that she is the culprit.
- Bernard Fremont is partially based on Charles Sobraj, a confidence trickster, thief and serial killer, and partially based on cult leader Charles Manson.
