Saturday Night Live aired its nineteenth season during the 1993-1994 television season on NBC.

Three new featured players were added to the cast: Norm Macdonald, Jay Mohr and Sarah Silverman. The three also served as new staff writers on the show. Veteran comic actor Michael McKean also joined in the middle of the season.

This season saw the final appearances of Phil Hartman, Melanie Hutsell, Rob Schneider and Julia Sweeney. The season began on September 25, 1993 and ended on May 14, 1994.
