In hold'em if you hold pocket eights, or if you make at least a pair of eights you may hear them referred to as "snowmen".
SoundPoker Says: Snowmen can make for a powerful hold'em hand when you have at least three, but with only a pair of eights there's a decent chance of losing to an over pair.
