Requirement of an employer to report annually to the U.S. Treasury Department the names of employees who terminated employment with vested benefits, and the amount of the benefits. The Treasury sends the Social Security Administration a copy, which is available to an employee on request. A statement of vested benefits is given by the Social Security Administration to an applicant for Social Security benefits.
