Socialtext Incorporated is a company based in Palo Alto, California that produces enterprise social software, including a wiki-centric software platform by the same name. It is run by CEO Eugene Lee and President and co-founder Ross Mayfield.^[1] The focus of Socialtext Incorporated is to enable people within a company to collaborate and share information with one another, increasing the company's productivity.

In contrast to basic wiki technology, Socialtext is designed to provide functions of authentication, authorization, and access control.^[2]
