Review
One of Hardy's less colorful efforts. The orchestration leans toward MOR at times, and she only had a hand in writing about half the material, which zigzags between rock, sad ballads, sentimental pop, and chirpy showbiz. It can't be written off, though, as it contains one of her best-ever songs, "Fleur de Lune," with its beautifully moody melody, descending guitar lines, and sultry vocal. Actually, most of the rest isn't bad, whether it's the acoustic balladry of "Soleil," the pensive "L'Ombre," or the unexpectedly forceful "Le Crabe." ~ Richie Unterberger, All Music GuideTracks
