Biography

British female dance-pop outfit Solid HarmoniE (aka SHE) began performing live in Europe after releasing their debut single "Got 2 Have Ya." Originally formed by Beki (born Rebecca Barrington Onslow), Melissa (born Melissa Ashley Graham), Mariama (born Mariama Goodman), and Elisa (born Elisa Frances Cariera), their lineup changed after Mariama left the act and Melissa decided to start her solo career.

In 1997, Solid HarmoniE relocated in Orlando, FL, bringing forth their self-titled debut album with the hit singles "I Want You to Want Me" and "I'll Be There For You." Puerto Rican Jenilca Guisti became their new member in 1999. ~ Drago Bonacich, All Music Guide

Solid HarmoniE (also SHE) were a British pop girl group formed in 1996. Initially the band was made up of Rebecca Onslow, Melissa Graham and Mariama Goodman, however Goodman left in 1997 to care for her mother. She was replaced by Elisa Cariera. Goodman rejoined the band later in the year, and the group became a four-piece.

The group was moderately successful, producing five singles and a self-titled album before disbanding in 1999. They had success in the Netherlands where their album went to #1 in the album charts and was certified gold.[1] Also the single "I Want You To Want Me" peaked at #4 in the charts. Goodman joined R&B group Honeyz later that year.

Members

Rebecca Onslow (born 3 January 1975 in Swansea, Wales) was the lead singer of Solid HarmoniE. Rebecca has embarked on a solo career and released "Wake up" on 15 January 2002.

Melissa Graham (born 10 October 1975 in Coventry, England) was an original member of the girl group and left in 1999 to embark on her solo career. Melissa has released three singles up to now.

Mariama Goodman (born 25 December 1977 in Lambeth, London, England) was an original member of the girl group, but left in 1999 to join Honeyz.

Jenilca Giusti (born 21 August 1981 in Daytona Beach, Florida) joined the group in 2000 after the departure of Mariama and Melissa.
