Review

Old-Time Country Music is an excellent 1991 recording of traditional mountain music and old timey string band material. All of Seeger's interpretations on the album are faithful without being dull, meaning that Old-Time Country Music is one of the best contemporary collections of traditional material to be recorded in the '90s. In fact, it's not a bad introduction to the rich variety of string bands, in general. ~ Thom Owens, All Music Guide
