Sonderkraftfahrzeug (abbreviated Sd.Kfz.) is German for "special purpose vehicle" (or "special ordnance vehicle"). The designation was used by Nazi Germany during World War II for armoured fighting vehicles, i.e. for example Sd.Kfz. 101 for the Panzer I.
