Sony Pictures Television International is the worldwide television distribution division of Sony Pictures. It handles the distribution of Sony Pictures' library and from 2005 to 2006, the MGM library with MGM International Television Distribution.

SPTI's logo has been placed on most old and new films they distribute, although sometimes it is cut by the TV station.

The company also operates the five SPE Networks: AXN, Animax, Sony Entertainment Television, Mystery Channel, and Channel 8 India. On June 4, 2008, Sony Pictures Entertainment acquired the Dutch company 2waytraffic, which that company is now under SPTI.
